How Do You See the World?

The new, completely re-envisioned visitor experience: How Do You See the World? at the First Church of Christ, Scientist campus in Boston, is a 21st century introduction to the teachings and philosophies of this worldwide spiritual movement. Totaling 20,000+ square feet of space, the newly installed exhibition, housed in a series of several elegant interiors, includes a variety of interactives and multimedia experiences.

Designed to inspire new ways of seeing, a collection of projected imagery, dynamic lighting, and composed music hide in plain sight as they welcome visitors along a journey to explore, ask questions, and make new discoveries. Some key lighting elements include a faux skylight that dynamically shifts color and intensity to mimic time of day, recessed adjustable spotlights concealed within architectural slots that provide both general and accent lighting, fantastically refurbished Globe Lighting Pendants that display current date and time data, and a redesigned lighting show inside the world famous Mapparium structure.
