Indiana Donor Memorial Experience

This project is a Remembrance Experience at the Indiana Donor Network headquarters in Indianapolis. The work honors the lives of organ and tissue donors while offering a meaningful and comforting experience for their families.

Located in a four-story atrium, the installation centers around multiple interactive kiosks; each presents tributes composed of personal images and messages submitted by loved ones, accompanied by a choreographed immersive light and sound experience. The lighting design played a critical role in establishing the emotional timbre of the space. Through subtle variations in color, movement, and intensity, the dynamic lighting transitions feel both personal and respectful, enhancing the experience without overpowering it.

The design carefully balanced the monumental scale of the atrium with the intimacy required for these moments of remembrance. Light was used to lift participants joyfully while maintaining a quiet, contemplative tone. The result is a layered, accessible tribute that supports reflection, connection, and healing.
